Discover the unique charm of Lake Escondido and the end of the majestic Andes Mountain Range in an authentic experience guided by a pioneer family of these lands. This activity combines adventure, nature, and Fuegian tradition in a setting of breathtaking landscapes and genuine hospitality. The day begins with a horseback ride, suitable for all levels of experience. During winter, the ride lasts approximately 1 hour, while in summer it extends up to 2 hours. Along the way, we enjoy incredible views of Lake Escondido, ride through the Fuegian forest, and reach the very shore of the lake—a place that conveys serenity and a deep connection with nature. At the end of the ride, the warmth of a mountain refuge awaits us. There we share a traditional Fuegian lunch, including a platter of salami and cheese, grilled sausages, beef with salad, and drinks, finishing with coffee and something sweet. All of this surrounded by horses and the natural environment that defines this region. For those who need it, we also offer adapted menus for celiacs, vegetarians, or vegans (upon request). 📷 Places we visit Garibaldi Pass – one of the most iconic viewpoints in Tierra del Fuego. National Route N°3 – a historic and scenic road crossing unique mountain landscapes. Lake Escondido – a natural gem surrounded by forests and mountains, a mirror of water that amazes in every season. Fuegian Forest – magical trails among lenga and coihue trees, where silence and fresh air become the true protagonists. Difficulty: Easy – suitable for all ages, even for those who have never ridden a horse. The experience includes: 🚕 Transfers: pick-up from your accommodation and return to the city. 🐴 Horseback ride: 1 hour in winter / 2 hours in summer, through the Fuegian forest and along the lake’s shore. 🍽️ Lunch at the refuge: platter of salami and cheese, sausages, beef with salad, drinks, coffee, and something sweet. 👱 Bilingual guide: Spanish / English (please specify language when booking).
